Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

With the impacts of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) outbreak being felt around the world, we wanted to reach out to both our customer and members that from a Direct2Florist point of view, we’re considering health and well-being as a top priority. We’ll be monitoring the situation closely and continue to adapt our service where necessary in accordance with the advice of the British Government and (WHO) World Health Organisation.

We’re advising all members to follow their own country-specific government guidance as well as the guidance of the (WHO).

In locations where members are able to accept orders, we’ve put into place the following procedures:

Temporary delivery requests.

  • Leave in a safe place.
  • Deliver as normal with a knock on the door.

For anyone that’s concerned about receiving the delivery by hand, we’ve added a temporary option of requesting that the flowers are left in a safe place. During the checkout process, you can select the option to leave in a safe place. You can also use the "special requests" box to provide any important extra information to assist the florist deliver.

Flower and packaging availability.

Taking into account supplier availability due to restrictions in certain countries, Specific flower types and packaging may not be available to all delivering florists at the present time. We’re advising florists to substitute accordingly, allowing them to use “florist choice” in order to fulfil your delivery with the best blooms of the day.

International Deliveries

As a measure to contain the spread of the virus, some governments have put their countries in lockdown. This will inevitably affect certain orders as florists may be unable to deliver. In the event of this happening, we’ll advise those customers of the situations and of how to proceed.

Orders placed in advance

If you’ve placed an order with us in advance that requires a change due to the country being in lockdown, self-isolation, or another related reason, please email our customer service team on webteam@direct2florist.com with your order number and message and we’ll do our best to resolve the issue where possible. Direct2florist team will of course always try to keep you informed ahead of any delays. Click here to read the full information >>

We hope that everyone remains healthy, and keeps going with the optimism that things will return to normal as soon as possible.

Best wishes for the weeks ahead
