Direct2florist, the family-owned business that connects consumers directly with local professional florists, has been nominated for the prestigious British Florist Association Flower Sender of the Year 2020 and 2021 award.
The nomination for this newly created category follows two years of success – Direct2florist was named Service Provider of the Year in 2018 and 2019 in the awards, which are the most highly regarded and influential in the UK floristry sector.
The nomination recognises Direct2florist’s efforts to drive the very best levels of quality through open and transparent real customer reviews, while supporting local businesses and high streets.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be nominated for this award, which recognises the hard work of everybody at Direct2florist and, most importantly, the tireless efforts of our committed local florists, who continue to deliver the very best quality floral gifts.” commented Simon Stirling, Managing Director and founder of Direct2florist.
Further commitments recognised in the nomination for the Flower Sender of the Year award include customers being given total to select the shop of their choice to deliver their order, based on real customer reviews, information in each florist’s website entry, including photographs of the shop and the actual work produced by the florist. This is backed by enabling florists to sell what they want at the price they want, allowing them to use local knowledge of flower availability, ultimately allowing customers to take advantage of a florist’s individual flair and creativity.
“This award nomination is great news for us, and everybody involved with Direct2florist and shows that there is a place for an ethical business in today’s world. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all staff, florists and customers for contributing to this success, which is only possible thanks to your support.”
