Ordered from the US for delivery to Bristol for my sister-in-law. The process of selecting a florist local to her was easy and transparent. When that florist was unable to fulfill the order, I was promptly informed and an alternate was selected without the need for my intervention. I was disappointed with the product, the flowers did not appear like the image on line. I appreciate different flowers may be used based on the season but they were not of the same standard as the image.

Florists have artistic talents and interpret a design their way. I chose a picture of flowers which included a basket with a handle for ease of carrying for the recipient as she is infirm. The flowers are wonderful but the arrangement lacked the handle.

I did not see the product and the delivery of the flowers was not confirmed until the afternoon of the following day. I had to ring the shop to see if they had been delivered. They were delivered late in the afternoon for a morning delivery , which is ok but better communication is needed. However my Morgee in law was happy with the flowers.

The first florist couldn't deliver my order because they didn't have an orchid. It was only when I rang them long distance that I found this out. The order had been forwarded to another florist but they were now closed so order couldn't be delivered on the day. It would have been helpful to have known there was a problem rather than having to ring the florist. In this case having to call Bristol from the U.S. Everyone was helpful though and I've used direct2florist before and will use them again.
