There are a few things you can start off with. Change the previous day's water, then cut an inch off the flower's stem, removing any leaves below the waterline.
After this, pour the second portion of flower food into the freshwater. Wait for four days and repeat the process, cutting half an inch of each flower's stem. Ensure to keep the flower away from direct sunlight, drafts, and heat.
