Direct2florist Supports The Oliver King Foundation
A Bolton-based family business, Direct2Florist, is delighted to support The Oliver King Foundation as their chosen charity. Business Development Manager, Wendy Rea, explains: "We are extremely proud to support the amazing work done by The Oliver King Foundation. We know firsthand what it means to be defibrillator ready through personal experience. Our Managing Director, Simon, was training in the gym when he went into cardiac arrest. CPR was performed, and staff retrieved the defibrillator, which saved Simon's life. This could have been a different story if there was no defibrillator available at the gym. Thankfully, Simon has made a full recovery."
Simon Stirling, Managing Director at Direct2Florist, said: "As well as raising money for the charity, the work done by Mark King and The Oliver King Foundation in raising awareness and educating the public about the importance of defibrillators is absolutely crucial to saving lives. We at Direct2Florist are keen to help in whatever way we can. We are first going to purchase a defibrillator and training for a local school in Bolton, which will be installed by The Oliver King Foundation. We will then continue to support their amazing work."
