As a family business we try at every level to support the industry and we are passionate about both it and florists.

Over the last few of years we have sponsored various projects including The Lonely Bouquet where we teamed up with The Marmalade Trust, a national charity that helps connect lonely people.

Last year the European Floristry School was arranged by the BFA to educate and showcase commercial designer floristry and we paid for 9 of our members to attend and experience the world of design floristry. It was fascinating and a great opportunity to not only speak with Master Florists but our fellow members.

We also sponsored our fabulous member Caroline Crabb in 2022 as she journeyed into Europe for the Europa Cup in Poland.

The Fleurex conference was yet another of our sponsorships that gave us the opportunity to meet and socialise with many members.

This year we have paid for a personal day of tuition with one of the greatest Designers, Gregor Lersche in support of another one of our incredible members Lizzie Newcombe as she pursues her dream of competing in The World Cup in September.

On top of all this we regularly promote your skills in features online and in print that showcase your beautiful floristry.

We have over the past 2 years sent out over 100 bouquets through the membership as competition prizes.

This year we are very proud to be sponsoring The World Skills for the UK along with their organising partner the BFA.

This competition encourages florists from around the country with less than 5 years experience to enter and prove themselves to have the real skills needed to flourish in our profession. This is not just about design skills but business acumen, buying skills, health and safety, the list goes on.

We don’t for one minute take our foot off the pedal in trying to help get orders for members as the safety net of Direct2florist as well as improving constantly our D2f websites that so many of you now have.

These are tough times but by being positive, constantly evolving and looking for improvements together we will be successful.
